Find all the details about our In-Person Services during COVID-19

As we re-open our campus during this time, Legacy will take the following steps to ensure the safety and health of our congregation:

  • Clean and disinfect contacted surfaces thoroughly prior to each service
  • Provide sanitizer throughout building
  • Provide face masks and gloves to volunteers and congregants as needed
  • Provide alternatives for passing offering plates and communion trays
  • Keep interior doors open to limit touching of door handles
  • Postpone childcare and L-Kidz classes during services until a safer time.
  • Children will remain with their parents
  • Activity bags will be provided for the children to utilize during service
  • Parents are encouraged to bring additional items for children to have that promote quiet play. (Examples include i-pads with headphones, books, crafts, etc..)

Legacy will:

  • Continue to provide sermons online for sick or high risk individuals who are unable to attend service in person.
  • Continue to put kids lesson videos and all other resources online until we return to offering classes during services again.
  • Continue to postpone in-person small groups, youth services, and midweek classes/activities until a safer time.

State officials have made these additional recommendations for services:

  • Congregants should not attend if they have a fever, symptoms of COVID-19, or known exposure to a COVID-19 case in the prior 14 days.
  • Congregants should practice social distancing and sit six feet apart. (Families can sit together.)
  • Congregants should wear face coverings over mouth and nose as it pertains to situations listed in Executive Order 63. (Exceptions stated in this order are listed below.)
  • Congregants should refrain from activities where people may gather in groups (e.g., coffee service, meet and greet time before and after services, meals, etc.).

We will advise you as changes are made regarding the operational procedures listed above. We look forward to seeing you and you being part of our powerful, anointed services. If you have any questions, please contact us using the link below or call the church office at 276-228-7351.
